IWC 356806 wrist watches news:
I have been having recurring issues with the crown of my Seamaster GMT for a while now but it still functioned as it should most of the time so,being the attentive sort that I am,I ignored it for nearly a year.As I went to set the date today in preparation for a new month I found myself holding the watch in my left hand and the crown in my right!!So for the first time in my WIS life I am having an overhaul done on one of my Omegas. (I've had it for about 5 years so what the heck.)Luckily my friendly neighborhood watch guy is also a trained and authorized Omega guy too.I'll drop it off tomorrow for a complete breakdown, cleaning, reassembly, new crown and refinishing of the case and bracelet. With a 2 year warranty on the work. Not cheap-but a lot less than another watch and when I get it back it'll be like new!! (which it wasn't when I bought it!!)In the meantime I guess the PO will just have to do.(or one of the other "too many" watches that I have accumulated)
Hi alljust sealed a deal to to buy a nice 6105 8110 on 3 equal installments. So I've got about till August to search for the perfect watch and strap combo - watch was available with an MM300 strap which I've opted not to get in favour of an additional discount.I'd like to steer away from the original waffle or waffle replacement look and generally wish to have the watch on a non-rubber/non-silicon option. The 19mm lugs is proving a bit difficult and am searching for some ideas for what would suit the watch best. Please share ideas on any cool options that are out there, by the way i will be needing a strap in long length best regards Zach in Malaysia
Which one is scratch/worn resistant? Black plated and ion-plated?I have a black watch but the bottom of the watch band is all scratched and worn. It looks old now. :-(
Over the last few months, I have been slowly realising that there was a lot of money tied up in just one watch - My Sub no-date.So a week or so ago, I decided to sell it and see what was available on various fora that I could blow the money on So in essence, I have traded my 1 watch and have 3 instead:1st up is this Doxa 750t SharkhunterLove the big, chunkiness of this one and even though it is chunky, does not look rediculous even on my 7" wrist2nd is this Breitling Avenger 3000MAgain, another chunky one, but is quite light, due to the fact it is TiAnd last, but by no means least is this:Zinex Trimix 2000M GMT (previous owners pics!)This one is still on it's way, so no comments from me as yet! Thanks for lookingMark
