IWC 3538 The Related Reviews:
- i was pleasantly surprised when i got this watch. It has a very nice look for dress or casual. The construction and quality of the bracelet is really what makes this watch stand out. Adding to that, the dial has a simplicity of an older watch that looks classic with the band. would recommend it highly.

IWC 3538 wrist watches news:
In fact, it is so rare, the dealer does not have the exact model in their description. The most interesting aspect of this watch is the dial two tone rare color, which measures 35 mm in diameter. The dial is black current finishing along the perimeter with Arabic numerals, which is a beautiful compliment to the sub-dial located at position 6 and the superb khaki beige leather strap.
I'm off tomorrow for my annual pilgrimage to Southampton for the Historical Road Rally. This got me to thinking about the appropriate watch to wear. The car I'll be navigating is a 1947 MGTC. My Clinton would be the right vintage. However, with its plastic crystal I fear it would not be the most durable watch if I knock it a little. My Khaki Chrono does have the rugged looks to go with the car. Plus it has the added benefit of providing me with a spare stop watch. My actual timing work is done with two digital stop watches hung about my neck.Do you have any favorite car & watch combinations? Hamilton used to produce driver's watches. Does anybody have one in their colection?
Yep, the scammers are still running amok. They're getting worse on the forums and on eBay. I 'bought' a Rolex earlier today. It's an older (pre-2000 per Milos) two tone Sub with an aftermarket serti dial. The listing said in broken English that it was priced for a fast sale. Yeah, at $1000! That's giving away the watch. At this point, I'm 85% sure it's bogus, and Milos' reply confirms it. Even though it's more than 13 years old, it's still a $5000-ish watch so I played along. I hit 'Buy It Now' and start having some fun. Kyle finds the stolen pictures are from a website called Becker Time (we won't go into their reputation) so I want to see if I can bait the scammer into bs'ing me some more. I ask for movement shots, and 3 more dial shots with the hands positioned in various ways and different dates. At the same time, I reported it to eBay. Don't you know it, they moved faster than I've ever seen - long before my fun even got started.Anyway, the point of this thread is to re
ok, i had enough of all these amazing pictures from you guys, and just had to see what all the fuss was about as i had never handled an AP before. went to a local boutique and got to play with the following models.....all i can say is WOW!, AP makes a fine watch. each was really special and each felt like an event when i tried it on. fun trip!
Unfortunately no brown box. But I'm ok with that. SWAG!
