IWC IW500201 wrist watches news:
Animation of Chopard Miglia GT XL Chrono Black watch speed 1000 is a variant of the chronograph calibre Valjoux 7750 robust and extremely precise. The automatic movement of the Switzerland won praise throughout the brotherhood of watches for its robust construction, reliable operating characteristics and mechanism Eprouvés chronograph integrated. Frequency of review of 28 800 vibrations per hour allows the chronograph function sets of time record in the second about 1/8th. Power of the mainspring barrel reserve is approximately 48 hours. Each of these sizes is submitted by Chopard in an Office of the Switzerland official chronometer control (COSC) where he undergoes a 15 days of tests to ensure that the accuracy is a demanding range on a variety of positioning and temperature variations. The certificate provided with each timepiece, and the inscription of chronometer on the dial, both attest the movement that have emerged with success of these trials.
Let's get one thing straight. I'm not a tourbillon guy at all. In fact, I think most of them are downright ridiculous. There are, of course, a few exceptions, where I believe the technical thoughtfulness, artistic integrity, and the simple beauty of them in motion outweigh my general belief that this complication is more than useless (then again, aren't all mechanical watches?). Some that I give a pass to include those from Laurent Ferrier and FP Journe, the Tradition tourbillon from Breguet, the?14-day guys from VC, the Gyro from JLC, the downright?ridiculousness of the mega RM's, and the occasional?ultra-slim Royal Oak tourbillon. But, if it came down to it, and I were forced to spend my own (pretend) money on a tourbillon wristwatch, it would likely (though not definitely) be from A. Lange & S?hne. 2 OF 12 Now I'm not going to lie and tell you that if given my druthers, the Lange tourbillon I'd buy would be this new 1815 (first shown to you in January during the SIHH)
Hi,I'm new to this forum. I'm ready to get my first Patek, and I'm deciding between 5159J (perpetual) or 5960P (annual calendar chrono).I actually was looking for 5159G (white gold), but the store currently has the yellow gold. But since I already have some other watches in while gold, I thought it might not be a bad idea to have a yellow gold.I'm in my early 40's, and the 5960P has a younger appeal. Although it has a slight lower retail price than the 5159J, but the store is asking for a markup above the list price; while I can get some discount on the 5159J. So, it ends up that the 5159J is actually slightly cheaper than 5960P.I've read many discussion on the 5960P on this forum, but not much on 5159J. It would be nice if I could get both, but for now, I can only afford one. I'd really appreciate if someone can give me some comments on which is worth to get. Thanks,Johnny
If you had to pick one based on craftsmanship, which would it be? From what I know, they both use Valjoux movements. I myself prefer the look of the Hamiltons, and it is difficult to justify the price difference. Opinions?
I am starting to learn that a lot of people have serious trouble getting SS Subs/GMTs and Daytona watch models. I have no prior with my AD, minus parent history. I emailed him about coming in this weekend to look at YM Rhodium vs SS Sub with date. He said no problem I have them both for you... same AD who let me try on a black/white Daytona (albeit he said it was ¡°already sold¡±)...buuuut I think I could convince to sell it to me.My only leverage is that I told him I would buy my girlfriend¡¯s engagement ring from him which is still a year plus away...Is this a complete anomaly?
