The watch and the pricetag: 5-stars. When UPS presented me a box crushed on all corners - with the watchbox rattling loosely inside - I knew it was trouble. The fact that tected the watch deep within a thick watchbox was the only reason I accepted the delivery.

Like all Rolex watches, this is a watch i'm not afraid to use and wear. It has a domed sapphire crystal over the face, and a sapphire crystal back which exposes the beautiful 8501 caliber movement that boasts an 18ct. red gold rotor and balance bridge to match the rest of the case. See-through casebacks are fairly common these days, but what is different about this watch is that it also has sapphire crystal sides (all around the watch, including between the lugs). While what you can actually see through the sides was a little disappointing to me (not sure what I was expecting to see anyways), I am impressed that t
