CX Swiss Military Hurricane Limited Edition Watch - Exclusive Announcement
This new limited edition watch from Charmex's CX Swiss Military Watch is the Hurricane, and is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain! For a neutral country, Switzerland has a lot of "military" stuff, and likes to commemorate battles. Why did I just realize how ironic that was? So, German failure in 1940 has given this Swiss company the ability to make a cool watch. If only they new how much defeat meant back then...Swiss Military wants the Hurricane to be the new benchmark in modern aviation watches. What does that mean? Not totally sure. I don't think aviation watches can have a bench mark with so many different types out there, but this is certainly a nice piece. My only problem with it are the dinky hands, but it isn't any less legible than most Breitling pilot watches. It even has a slide rule - so it must be an aviator then!The Hurricane name is based on the famous single engine British fighter plane that was part of the RAF (Royal Airforce). You can see one o

Hi,I just received my Grandfather's Omega back from repair. Is this model supposed to have the stop seconds when you pull the crown out to set the time? I thought it did but the second hand doesn't stop.By the way, which model movement does this one have? Thank you very much,Dave

Okay, so you have an Oris (or two or three etc)...If you could have just one more (modern) Oris, what would it be?And if you don't have an Oris, what would your one and only Oris be?For me, the Williams F1 series has always appealed to me, but I've never been able to quite justify adding one to my collection.But, for the sake of a 'what if' thread like this, here's what I would have:What can I say, I'm a sucker for blue.:).So how about you?The Jazz series? Patek 5960P vs. 5170G
Hey all,I've been close to moving on a 5170G Black dial. But I was just offered a mint 5960P with the grey dial. I know the 5960 series is not the purist choice and the movement can't compare to the 5170 but I find it eminently wearable and a wonderful combination of sportiness and class.
