Jaeger LeCoultre 1742471 wrist watches news:
I am wondering if given a choice between SS and TiCN PVD on a Seiko watch, would you be concerned about the TiCN's durability? I am beguiled by the cool Seiko Pilots that look like Sinn fliegers.:D
Hello,New to watch collecting and I have my eye on the Breitling Bently Chronograph GT and the Omega Planet Ocean Chronograph. I thought it is time to try and automatic watch and I realize that I wear my Invicta 5017 alot because I like the size 43mm. My wrist size is about 7 1/4 inches and the Breitling is a 48MM while the Omega is a 45MM. My question is do you think my wrist is too small to sport a 48MM watch and which watch do you guys prefer and why? Does Breitling have a better reputation than Omega? I was going to pull the Trigger on the Omega last night just out of fear that a 48MM may look too big on my wrist so I said let me pose the question here first. Thanks alot.
Every brand has their go-to references.Rolex with the SS Daytona¡¯s and SkyDPP with the Nautilus and PilotsAP with..... well everything is hot right now with themIf you had to rank the top 5 Breitlings, how would you guys do it?
I am looking to replace the bezel of my blue seamaster gmt, but am not sure how to get it off and do not want to spend a fortune to replace it. If anyone has one they would like to sell or knows where to buy one at a good price I would appreciate it. Also, if anyone could provide directions or a method to remove the bezel that would be great. Thanks!!
Question related to service...After several years of heavy use, my old man is giving me his Panerai 299. While generally in good shape, the crown guard is pretty loose and jiggles around. Certainly not useful any more in preventing ingress of water. Is there a way to tighten it myself using inexpensive tools I can buy online, or would you recommend either bringing it in to an AD for service/sending it to Panerai. All else being equal or nearly equal, I'd go with the lowest-cost option. Thanks!
