- This is a beautiful watch. The face is much larger than I expected but all the better to appreciate the floral design! It will be a terrific piece to wear through the spring and summer!

IWC IW371702 wrist watches news:
......the GTG on Saturday?
I've wanted this watch in blue since Tissot announced it early last year. Tissot took their sweet time bringing it to the states and finally, a local AD got them in. He gave me a price close enough to the gray marketers, so I decided to become legit If you want to read my long, rambling review, it is here The main reasons I wanted this model was the addition of the day display to the Powermatic movement, the blue dial, and of course, its 80 hour reserve. Additionally, in person, this watch simply shines due to its polished bezel, markers, and hands. There are a lot of nice little details, such as the dividing frame between the day and date, the indented polished sides, and even the T on the crown. The watch is 39mm across and fits nicely on my wrist. Since the bezel is small, the watch is mostly dial. That is a good thing, because the dark blue, punctuated by highly polished hands and markers, creates a pleasing place to look on your wrist. The blue dial is decorated by an out
RobinO created a thread "Embarrassing watch moments", so do you have a story of wanting to scream and pull your hair out either because of a mistake you made or the involvement of another. I picked up this Seiko 7009a a few weeks ago and I decided that I would use it as my first real attempt at giving a watch a little make over. So I picked up some wet dry paper in several grades 240/400/800/120 and organised my small work area. I removed the crystal & crown & movement from the case and then set about my little project. About an hour into my project I heard a comment "ooh look at the little spinning wheel" followed by my words "don't touch that", but it was too late the little spinning wheel was longer spinning and it was "pull my hair out time". I have put it all back together but it obviously now needs a service as the balance wheel is messed up. Luckily I tried the work on a cheap watch but I was so looking forward to wearing my finished project and now I feel like sickened
My name's Nick. I'm 20 years old and I've had a fetish for watches for years, but it's never really matured because, lets face it, a teenager doesn't have money! But I've built up a decent collection over the years, at least for a teenager I think. My first real watch was a Skagen as a gift from my father. Since then I've collected a few, a Seiko, a Bulova, and I just got an Invicta Lefty Watch the other day as a Valentines day gift from my fiance (proposed the same weekend!). When she gave it to me, I think it clicked a switch inside my brain or something. I really like it a lot, and yet I find myself wanting more the last couple of days. I've been a long time shooter, knife collector, and cigar smoker, and am finally finding myself bit with the watch bug enough to put some serious money aside for something nice, maybe an Omega or Tag Heuer.Anyway, good to meet everybody. I can't believe how nice some of the watches I've seen in the forums here are. Wish I could afford some of this st
I live in Washington DC area and have been going to ad after ad for months looking for Blnr and did not want to pay elevated grey prices. Plus not find one anywhere but out of blue yesterday went to small town about hour out of dc and ad just got one in day before. I purchased it for MSRP, I asked about discounts but they would not budge so I guess lucky to get fOR MSRP. Def looks better than in person compared to Rolex website. Very impressed with look of blue, darker that pictures which is better for me. Excited today.
