1120 Movement Sounds
Hi All,When winding your cal 1120 watch, do you notice any sounds at all?When I first purchased my 2254.50 over a year ago, the winding was buttery smooth and the movement didn't make any noise. 6 months later, when manually winding the watch I could hear a slightly raspy grinding sound, which I'm accustomed to on all other automatics I've had the experience of winding. Now, there is this noticeably louder clicking sound when I wind the watch. It only occurs once with each time I twist the crown...and can be heard even if I extend my arms and wind the watch far away from me. Now, I noticed this problem when the watch is fully wound, and haven't had a chance to let the power reserve dwindle and test it again when it's not fully wound. I kinda have a hunch that it's the 'clutch thing' that engages whenever a watch is fully wound to prevent overwinding. VDB-1000 Feature ... Does Anyone Have a Full-Screen Calendar!?
I stumbled on this site and I am hoping that someone can help. I used to have a Casio VDB-1000 great geek watch. Then I found MSN Direct and my Suunto n3i I will actually miss the watch and the service. But now I am in need of a new watch. The feature I really loved on both watches noted is the full-screen calendar but without the bulk of a cell phone, PDA or camera never thought I'd have to exclude such electronics from a WATCH posting. Anyway, if anyone out there knows of a decent quality watch without features that makes it look like a small kitchen appliance, please let me know! Thanks!

Has anyone purchased one of these pieces? At the time of release I am pretty certain it was listed as a boutique only available watch. Now reading the AP website it is listed as a novelty meaning it will also be available to AP AD dealers. Is this change due to poor sales. I have not seen many on the grey market. The price at 42K is quite a premium to pay for the metal. I like the color scheme but at the time of release I had concerns about the price and how well this model would sell.

2907.50.91 Serviced under warranty on Swatch Group - Miami
Just to share my recently experience !I took like a month ago my 2907.50.91 Planet Ocean Casino Royale to be serviced... Since I got it the 11 marker had a weird black dot under the Lume but never do anything just now because the warranty close to expired.I went there with my PO then they write in the receipt, bracelet scratched, clasp scratched, case scratched, caseback scratched, bezel scratched, crown scratched and dial damaged... because of my claim.This is one of of my favorites and I keep all my timepieces in a pristine condition and this one was like new so i said : Why you mark as scratches if I can't see anything on my watch is like factory new... then she told me no because is already used.When I leave Swatch Group office I was thinking this guys are Swatch Group so I'm going to be fine.They sent me an email to authorize the repair... an exchange of the dial and the movement was not accurate but they told me a service will be included under warranty... I agree and they star

Stopped in for service
I've recently noticed that my watch is losing some seconds everyday. I decide to stop in the Patek service center in Rockerfeller plaza. After a quick service I was told my watch falls into specs. The service advisor recommended when I'm not wearing the watch to keep it crown up. Anyhow attached is the printout of the the service. Any further information about the print out would help. I understand the diagrams on the left are crown postion but what do the other numbers mean. Thanks everyone.
