HI everyone, I've been contemplating my first AP watch purchase. I own a few rolex watches but I hear AP is on a different level. I'm considering either the blue boutique stainless steel royal oak chronograph or the same watch with the black dial, I thought about maybe just starting out with a regular royal oak steel watch but I really like the chronographs. The rose gold AP's are stunning watches but a little out of my price range for now.Any advice on which steel version wears better for everyday use. I have seen the black but I've never seen the blue boutique in person, can anyone that has had or has these pieces offer their personal opinions/reviews. Do they scratch easily?Do AP owners usually start out with steel and then move up to pink gold?I know rolex hold value pretty well, what about AP?any general reviews on pros/cons would be appreciated. Strap vs Bracelet
Do youll feel there are some brands that just look better with one over the other?You are def. influenced by how they are normally shown (rolex on a bracelet) but there are some brands that have a more even split between the two.I only care for my rolex sports models on its bracelet, and I only care for a Panerai if it is on a leather band.For some reason Panerai and AP's to me just look perfect with the contrast between materials from being on a strap/band. I was contemplating getting the bracelet for my Diver, but am actually not in love with it. I realllllly like the bracelet, just as though I really liked the bracelet for a Panerai, but I think in general......AP's look better on a strap of sorts.Therefore...I am thinking of picking up a black hornback > bracelet.Thoughts? Anyone else have some generalized opinions on the subject?

Omega Seamaster Bracelet Question
Hi, does anyone know if it easier to add or remove links from the new Seamaster Professional 300m? The old bracelets were notoriously difficult to remove or add links and the pins often bent when they were removed. It was also a job that was done at a jewellers and not at home.They seem to have gone to a screw and pin system, so are the pins easier to remove and can it be done at home?Thanks in advance.
