Invicta 0627 wrist watches news:
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me identify my grandfathers vintage watch and tell me the value of it.It is gold filled with a dennison case which says moon guaranteed for 20 years, however on the watch face itself it has no name which is why I am having trouble finding out who it is made by. Inside of the movement it says swiss made pat 24 may 1904. I have included photos, any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
I came across an interesting older Seiko in a jewelry store today, I wonder if anyone could help with some history on it. It was a wind up Seiko Sportsman. That is correct, it winds up and is not an automatic. It is silver tone plated base metal with a stainless back and is "waterproof".It has a central sweep second hand and a date window. It has been serviced by the jeweler/watchmaker and runs. Is it worth anything and about how old would it be? It has "Seiko Sportsman" in script below the 12 and "waterproof diashock 17 jewels" above the 6 position. I might just have to pull the trigger on it if it is collectable.
Heading for Vegas next weekAnybody know of any good Vintage Watch Dealers in the area?Where I can drop my winnings!
Hi all, just wanted some input as i just purchased my first real watch earlier this year a Tudor Heritage Chrono, and now i am looking to make the next jump to another very real watch. My budget would be 7.5k-10k i am open to new or vintage. Any ideas on what would age well to either wear or put away for a rainy day?Cheers
