- This watch is perfect for the electrician tradesmen. It has the least amount of metal exposed on it to avoid any blems when your hands would enter an energized panel that you may be working on. It is inexpensive and accurate.

This fall is looking like it will be an amazing time to be a vintage watch lover. Last week we showed you some highlights from the Phillips November sale, and now we're back with a few highlights from the Christie's sale. The absolute highlight of this sale is a Patek Philippe perpetual calendar from 1954 – reference 2497 – but this isn't your average 2497. No, this is a fresh to market example, with a never before seen black gilt dial and luminous hands. It's likely one of a kind, and it belonged Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie. It is absolutely spectacular. The Emporer Selassie Patek Philippe 2497 With Black Dial And Luminous Hands 1 OF 15 There is absolutely nothing more exciting to watch lovers and collectors than discovering something truly new. This 2497 is a rare instance of not only discovering something entirely new, but also discovering something in truly honest, authentic condition, with indisputable provenance and importance

Hello all-I have a Seamaster Planet Ocean 45m 022105000 blk steel on steel I'm looking to part with. However, the thoughts of eBay and Craigslist scare the hell out of me. This watch has only been worn 3 times (only to formal events) and even has the plastic protector on the clasp in place. I have all books/cards and purchased from authorized dealer but never wear the thing. I have a regular Seamaster I love and hate to see this one sitting in the winder box not being used. Can anyone point me in the right direction on the best (safest) way to sell and even what to ask? Many thanks in advance. I apologize if this thread should have been posted in another area.
I sent an e-mail on the Hamilton web-site asking if it was possible to take a tour of the Hamilton production facility in Switzerland. I got the following e-mail back today from Murielle Raveloson,[Murielle.Raveloson@swatchgroup]Dear Mark,Thank you for contacting Hamilton watches. We are honored that you would want to visit our production site. Unfortunately, the production side is only reserved to people who work for the company.Regards,MurielleI sent Murielle a reply e-mail asking if the company had any stock photos of the interior or exterior of the Hamilton production faciltiy she could share with us. I said we had a rabid group of Hamilton fans that would love to see them (and that we spend lots of money on Hamilton watches, new and vintage)I'll keep you posted on her response.Mark
