How often do your automatics stop?
I only have two automatics but I don't have a winder so it's hard to keep them both running, especially if I want to wear any of the other watches in my modest collection. Is it bad that I let my automatics run all the way down to no power probably once a week or so? Is it hard on them to be setting them that often?

Where to find pre-loved GMT?!
Hey guys I am interested in buying a pre-loved GMT "coke" black/red Debaufre or Steinhart. Any ideas where I can look? I looked on eBay, watchuseek, ChristopherWard forum and obviously here.I am almost broke being in PA school, and I am selling or trading my Lum-Tec M30 to put towards it. I really believe this watch is the best deal under $1k. Can you ask for a better movement than the 2893-2!!!? Thanks for any input, suggestions or help.Steve

I know this is the Rolex forum, but wanted to get an opinion from Rolex owners regarding this watch. I'm familiar with the history and clearly its a classic design. It's one of the best watches I've seen on a leather strap or a NATO. I tried one on recently and it really didn't sing to me like how it does when I see it in photos. It could have been the Omega bracelet, which I'm not a fan of or maybe because I started off with Rolex I'm a bit bias. What's the opinion from owners, how does this guy work in your collection?

I got one recently. bnib from a great ad. He made me promise not to sell it. Which i agreed to. However, it has yet to cling to my heart like i thought it would. I just stare at it in the box and it has yet to take over wrist time from my other vintage watches......am i alone here? I thought this watch was dynamite in pictures and on my wrist in the showroom but it has yet to really set it. What should i do?
