- I love everything about it except the strap. It's a tad . I still gave it 5 stars because the color and style make up for it.

Invicta 18023 wrist watches news:
Typical AD conversation.."The retail price for the watch is $XXXX, and our price is $YYYY".Depending on the AD and other factors, the discount could be from 10-30%.What's got me thinking is..well, this is all very good for us, the consumers..I get a $5000 watch for around $3300. But then what happens to the difference ?Was $3300 the price the AD "buys" the watch from Omega. Or perhaps even less, to account for their profit ?Does the AD account for the discount just to move inventory? That doesn't sound like a good business practice? As far as I know, both Omega and (most) AD's are doing well..so they must be turning a profit. If so, why can't they just list the watch at $3300. I know this is applicable to most brands, but I thought I'd post here rather than the GD to avoid brand bashing.
I am 54 years old and since the age of 12 or 13 I have owned multiple watches. The older I got the more varied and high(er) end my watches got.I like to think that I have a relatively diverse collection. But in all this time I believe that I have gotten less than 3 actual "compliments" and perhaps a shade more "comments" on any watch.Maybe it's because my watches are boring,or I wear long sleeves in the winter and beaters in the warmer "short sleeve" months, or I an generally unapproachable. So I ask the membership who have recieved these compliments-what was said??My daughter in law said of my Hammie Khaki Aviation-"Wow that's a big watch"In an AD a guy saw my Sinn U1 and said "That looks like a good watch, what kind is it?"Are these compliments or comments??Maybe it has to do with ones work environment as the majority of people I deal with are not WIS types.
I have this old gold omega watch only thing I know about it is its 14k gold. Anyone know anything about it.uploadfromtaptalk1391651172008.jpguploadfromtaptalk1391651186217.jpgSent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
...when would they announce it? Does it normally coincide with Basel new releases?I honestly can't believe they wouldn't raise them now.5 or 6 years since last increaselimited supply of SSmany watches selling for over MSRPPatek 20% increase on NautilusHow much more wind in their back could they want?
Why is this such a popular watch? Been seeing them out in the wild quite a bit.
