Invicta 15340 wrist watches news:
Hello watch enthusiasts!I came across an old Longines watch passed down from my grandfather from the Soviet Union. Can anyone here help identify what year it was made and if its of any significant value? The serial number is 2816980. I went on a website and put in the number, they just said it was from around 1912. Any more help would be much appreciated. I uploaded a few pictures. Thanks.photo (2).jpgphoto.jpgphoto (1).jpg
I purchased a ladies DKNY NY3713 crystal watch for my son's wedding from Macy's a couple weeks ago. It retailed for $175.00 and that i what I paid. I then got a bit of buyer's remorse at the price and looked online and found it for 102.00. I talked to the guy and was a bit apprehensive because it was too good to be true, but he insisted he sold only authentic watches. I could not find one bad review. He had a good rep on eBay, although he did not sell DKNY on eBay.When I got the watch in, it was exactly the same except for one minor detail. The face of the watch was slightly different in that his watch was a bit more ivory where the one from Macy's was very white. Also, there was a rectangular engraving line around the perimeter of the watch that was absent from the Macy watch. This concerned me as I don't buy replica watches and I don't pay even $100 for a fake. Can anyone give me any advice on this from your experience? Do you think I got taken from this guy?
Just love my new ROO RG 44. Question for those of you with them, for my wrist I am in the second or third hole from the start. This leaves a little more strap past the end of the buckle than I normally have on other straps. How does this compare to most wearers of this watch. I think I read somewhere a shorter strap is available? This is my first rubber strap, do they break in or stretch any?
Not sure if it is true or a sales pitch, but one of my dealers just informed me that Patek told them the 5270G is discontinued, though apparently they are getting one last one.
Hello. I have a chance to pick up a new panerai for my 30th birthday. I was going to pull the trigger on a new 510, but my AD just took in a trade on a pam00422, and I can grab it for the same cost as the 510. 422 is complete with triple box( inner black box a bit banged up) and war entry dated 4/14What would you do?I'm 6ft 2in, and a 7.75in wrist, so 47mm should be ok. I like the 8 day power reserve, but I like the 1950s case. Any advise would be good.
