Advice on Changing from Seadweller to Deepsea
Hi Guys,After much consideration I'm going to buy a Deepsea. At the moment I have a D series seadweller in mint condition which will have to make way for my new addition.The question is, what sort of price could I look to sell it privately or what price would be fair to ask the AD as a part exchange on the Deepsea? I live in the UK and would greatly appreciate any advice especially if you have found yourself in my position.Senni

Finally I got two quality watches, russian!
Well, I wanted a quality watch, and was thinking about a Forits, but I could not pay over $1000 for a timepiece. So I went Russian! I bought the 42mm first then wanted a more chunky, larger watch, I then purchased the 45mm Aviator. Here is a photo of my watches!Anyone get other Russian watches?? I love the 45mm, and am waiting for my brown Hirsch leather strap. I want to make the watch look more vintage!

Anyone else in a watch rut?
I remember maybe a year ago responding to a Boscoe post where he'd stated how he was becoming less interested in watches. I don't remember the exact wording, but the gist was that he went to look at his then grail watch (50 fathoms?) and left wholly disillusioned. I think somehow I've found myself in the same or similar situation. Where are the watches that can recapture the passion I once had? There isn't anything out there that catches my imagination anymore. I used to love watches. I'd go blocks out of my way to walk by different ADs and scope the case or talk shop. I don't feel inclined to do so anymore. Sure, there are lots of nice watches with movements, case details, and exotic materials, but where is the watch that I MUST HAVE? Where's the watch I'd rather have over a very nice 2 week vacation? I haven't seen a watch like that in a long while. Certainly not since my GMT-IIC. Need Advice: Swap Sub Bluesy for SkyD SS White?
Hey everyone, I need some advice. Would you swap a bluesy 116613lb for a white dial SS SkyD? I have a BLNR, a Pam 104, and a JLC tribute moon in my collection. I’m really torn on this, as I like the SkyD quite bit, but don’t know if it will be a long term keeper and classic as the bluesy. I’ve attached a photo of the SkyD as a reference.Thanks!
