Invicta 17221 wrist watches news:
Well, now the DSSD is on my wrist! I took a LOT of pics.. as other have stated, this watch is difficult to take pics of, especially the crystal due to the glare.Yes, I made sure to reserve a V-series! Now the watch:The mandatory first wristshot:Some more:Oh, I forgot to mention that there was a LOT of plastic stickers on the DSSD:The "Ringlock System" etc. is hardly noticeable:The MATTE dial:Some lumeshots.. It's strange since on pics the lume looks more blue than to the naked eye. When you see the lume in real life, it looks more blue/green. Here in a dark room:In low lighting:As for the box size, I am fortunate to now have all three kinds. Here you can see the difference:I did not get any discount on the DSSD, but the manager gave me this nice little token:.\
I had this before and bought generic adapters and bracelet .looked horrible with the gigantic gap between the case and bracelet so it was sold quickly .then I happened across one with the suppa parts titanium bracelet and bought it immediately .it's the only way to go here 1002174_10205745372536282_7579960673740050951_n.jpg 1341_10205745372736287_8976419002060056103_n.jpg 1935880_10205745373096296_611794642291319225_n.jpg 1660943_10205745373296301_3511481226888406808_n.jpg 1010625_10205745373376303_4442387985048909762_n.jpg
My Hamilton Fontainebleau Chronomatic is currently at the watchmaker. Will take about to 2 months, but at least that gives me some time to think about which strap to buy Originally the fontainebleau was fitted with an SS bracelet. Personally I prefer a black leather strap. What do you guys think, croc, racing or SS????IMAG0187.jpgBare in mind, the caliber 11 movement in the Hamilton was developed with Heuer and was also in the Monaco and Carrera.
So lil brother is turning 25 this year and I think it's time for him to join the big boys club :)He always into military, nasa, and those kinda things and Im thinking to grab him a speedy moonwatch. I have a good relation with omega AD here, so can get a good discount for sure (or I just can give him mine). But at the same time I'm thinking he will appreciate Sub ND as well, I can totally see him using nato strap or any military inspired straps with the Sub. Only problem is, no good relation with Rolex AD here, and with the low stock and high demand for the SS models, might need to go with the greys, just bought BLNR from this good grey dealer, so might can get a discount. But I don't think he's ready for a S$10K (Singapore dollar) watch on his hand, maybe when he's 30 LOLAny suggestions or recommendations will be appreciated!
Assuming you could get a Sub date or Sub ND right now from an AD at MSRP...Would you buy now or wait to see if Rolex releases a Sub update (new movement?) at Basel 2018?
