- Bought as a gift and would buy one for myself. It's much larger and better looking in person. Very nice elegant casual watch.

Invicta 80659 wrist watches news:
I have red that the GMT-MASTER 16700 is a far rarer reference than the 16710, but it also had a simpler movement. I have some questions for the experts:- is it more sought after than the most common 16710? - does it sell for higher prices than a 16710 of the same year and of the same condition?
So I usually buy one new watch a year. Last year, it was a SS Rolex GMT Master II which I happen to be wearing right now. After that splurge last year and with some other major expenditures scheduled this year, I decided to go a bit more frugal on this year's watch. And I was tired on my current daily wearer and wanted to get something a little better suited for daily wear.So this past week I bought a watch I have had my eye on for a long time: A Seiko Premier Automatic SPB001 with the 6R20 movement. This will be my fifth Seiko, and a nice bridge between my Seiko 5 and my Grand Seiko. My normal daily attire is what I call "borderline dressy causal" - khakis, loafers, and polo shirts (summer) and Pendletons (winter) - I think this watch will fit right in with that attire, so I am planning on making this watch my daily wearer.I'll post a review and some wrist shots once it arrives (hopefully next week).Anyone else here own one of these? Any thoughts?
So my mom was cleaning out her cupboards and she stumbled upon this vintage Omega that she got from her boss a long time ago when she started working. I have the box and all paperwork including the original purchase receipt, date of purchase, serial number, etc.I couldn't find any markers on the underside of the watch, but the receipt is dated November 20, 1977. The gold strap that the watch is on right now isn't original, but I have the original leather strap as well also in mint condition (pictured). Is it worth restoring? The watch is in pretty much mint condition since my mom has never worn it for the past 30+ years. However due to its age it obviously would need some servicing.Any insight into what it actually is would be really helpful!
Fellas, heres a vid from Hodinkee about the 175th Anniversary auction for Patek. Interesting video as always from Hodinkee.Enjoy! There are some fantastic pieces here
Hi guys,A quick question about world time watches. Is the 24 hour ring moving 24 hours per day or is it still at where you set it?Thanks!
