Invicta 19822 wrist watches news:
Hello. First post. Through a family estate, I recently( and unexpectedly) received a Hamilton Electric Regulus. My question is about the color of the face. The only faces I have seen are white but mine has a black dial. Is this unusual? I would like to learn more; I only recently started to enjoy vintage watches and any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
About a year and a half ago I posted this pictorial:.info/foru...orum/27751.htmThere are 4 as of yet unidentified pictures at the bottom. If you know what these hand styles are called, please let me know. Also, if you know of an obvious style missing, add a pic and the name here. I'll see if I can resize it and add it to the post. Thanks!
So, there I was on Craigslist looking for a French Horn for my daughter. And suddenly I was looking at watches - how does that work? Does anyone else have the same problem with ebay or craigslist? Must be a malfunction of some sort...Anyway - ran across this Debaufre and started the discussions, met for coffee and have been wearing it constantly since Saturday. I had looked at the Debaufre GMT line in the past (I gotta thing for GMTs) - but this just sort of fell onto my wrist. It was running a bit fast (+20 sec/day), I opened the case - made an adjustment and now am running at +3.5 sec/day (perfect). This is a well constructed watch and fun to wear. I'll try to post more pics and details later, but for now...B
OK, so say one was willing to spend in the neighborhood fo 4k on a fine timepeice, what do you lot think should make the cut.Let's wrap some boundaries around this to keep it real...1 - 4k cap2 - I like diver styles, but happy with other styles3 - keep it round, please4 - nothing dressy - not my life5 - chrono or non, OK6 - strap order of preference - ss, leather, rubber (maybe)7 - I like rotating bezels, but can do without8 - date yes; day of week optional9 - size - 41mm - 44 mm rangeComing in UNDER the price cap is fine, as there's no sense spending every penny when not needed. ;)My current starting point is an Omega SMP PO.Also going to look at a Panerai, but no idea if I can even get one in my budget. I don't think so, but...Oh, preference for new over used, but again, value v. condition matters. ;)
hey ya'll! i just ordered a new black reef ranger. i've been agonizing over this purchase, weighing it againsthe oris divers and the smps. finally economic reasons pointed me to the boschett. they have a very limited line, but what they do offer coincided with exactly what i was looking for: a dive watch; a smooth black dial; good luminosity; and a great band. swiss made mechanical is in there as well. i really considered waiting for their mariner to become available, but the more i looked at it the more it looked like it was pretending to be something it wasn't. the band and the blue lume really does it for me. i can't wait to post my pics, and believe me i will! should go great with my black '06 FLTRI. now if anyone would care to comment on the eta2824-2 they're using i would greatly appreciate it. i'm an almost complete novice at understanding mechanical movements. anyway, i opted for 2-3 day usps priority, so i'd better get to detailing my bike for those pics!
