Invicta 0135 wrist watches news:
Sorry for the iPhone pictures! I saw two of my grail watches! SD Comex! tried one on fit perfect! Wow! They were asking 110k. So I put my GMT II-C back on and thought to myself, at least I saw and tried one on! Cars were awesome too!
I have been collecting for a couple years, and in that time I have found two very knowledgeable people who I now consider to be very good friends. One is a vintage watch dealer and the other is a writer who has a love of watches and who loves to share what he as learned. I have bought a number of nice watches from my friend the watch dealer and I have asked both friends many questions about condition, price, rarity, and so on. They have never failed to educate me but that is only part of the learning process. What I have learned is the following:1. No matter how much you learn, there is something new to discover (we never know it all).2. What may look superb to you may not look so great to a more experienced eye. Ask.3. Ask lots of questions. What's the worse that can happen - someone either says they do not know or won't answer the question.4. Ask the right question (particularly on eBay). I used to worry about "offending" the seller but after all, its your money. Ask question
Hey guys,First time on the forum and looking to purchase a hamilton. Checked out my local authorized dealer and they were asking $500 for jazzmaster viewmatic H32415555. Is that a good deal or could i get it for much cheaper online? Thanks
I was given a Seiko reference model number SNF177P1 (B00047XVIC) When I typed in the model number SNF177, more hits came up, but no battery info. Also the other number, in parenthesis that I found goes to the SNF177, but still no battery info! It is the same watch. Not sure what the P1 stands for! It is a 3/4 stainless steel mans watch with a steel jewelers clasp steel band. Problem is it does not have a battery in it. I took it to a couple of places and they said that without the specs or a prior battery in it, they cannot tell what battery goes in it. Is there a master Seiko model/battery list that anyone knows of on the net or otherwise, where I can identify what battery model number goes in this watch. The watch is almost brand new. Not sure why the battery is missing, but I am trying to get it to work. Also do not have the instructions that came with it, that may have extensive info on watch. If anyone knows where I can get this, please help as well. Can anyone help?
Hello everyone,Do you guys think that Rolex will introduce some of there classic dials this year at Basel world ? I can't help but notice almost all new dial designs are stick markers , new skydweller, 95 percent of the new DJ41 are only stick markers. I'm really hoping that they bring back the stainless steel DJ with Roman numerals or even Arabic numerals would look exquisite on the DJ41. I just don't wanna pull the triggger and then have them release a new fleet of dials , am I better off waiting until march ?Thanks
