The thing that is great about a brand like Benarus is that they are a known quantity. When we look at their watches we know they will be well made, over built by design, with either classic tool watch looks or something all together bizarre and unique. They also put a huge emphasis on water resistance, so though the watches are generally under $1,000, they will be able to take pressures well above the norm.The watches I am looking at today are part of their Moray line, which has been around for sometime, yet keeps getting new iterations. What makes these two interesting is that they measure 42 and 40mm in diameter. This puts them on the medium to small size for contemporary divers, and as a fan of smaller watches I couldn't help but take them for a test drive. Both watches feature domed sapphire crystals, HEV, 1000M water resistance and Miyota 9015 automatic movements. Help Idetifying a Fossil Watch
Hey guys,I am new to this forum, as I am searching out an ID on a particular fossil watch.I had it about 2 years ago, and unfortunately I laid it down on a driving range lot and it and my driver met at high velocities. I bought it at a fossil outlet. It had a stainless steel watch cover and band, thus being water resistant. The feature that anyone would remember about it is that it had an illuminated dial, which lit up 3 different colors (red, green, and yellow). I really would like to find another one, and IDing it would be a great first step. If anyone might be able to point me in the right direction, I would be extremely grateful.Brian

Question: on Patek's
I was looking on the non rolex forum on one of the topics about value retention which got me thinking. Can anyone tell me truthfully is there a new current Patek, or a model say that is up to 3 years old, that is under 200k and that in the pre-owned market i.e. someone privately selling it on, will not sustain at least 20% hit on the resale? So is there a current model that you can buy today and sell say one year later and not lose a penny?I would just be interested to hear. I ask because I never buy new, I never buy new cars, watches or new houses(ok maybe clothes!!) Reason being is that the first owner will always sustain a hit of at least the associated tax, be it VAT or whatever, the moment they walk out once they've paid their money. And as I do not have a must buy new character anymore, I prefer to buy pre-owned. I know this may sound like a stingy or mean streak in me, but I have learned the hard way in the past and therefore refuse to succumb again.

How much can the BB Rose be beaten up
Have been wearing my BBN ETA for a month now and while the watch is still in prestine condition I sometimes wonder if it can be beaten up same as the Sub Date which was once my daily watch for more than 10 years. The BB especially its bezel to me seems a bit more delicater than the Sub or I am just over worried? Or perhaps it seems delicate because of its vintage charm that the Sub lacks. Would be interesting to hear your opinions on this.
