A. Lange & Sohne 115.029 wrist watches news:
Hello Everyone, I am new to this forum. I have been reading the various interesting threads and very much appreciate the knowledge, the friendly environment and the amazing pictures. I am not a very good photographer, and do not have a good camera, but I hope you find the photos interesting.I love watches and over the past few years have built a small collection that is composed of:1) A Z series SS Rolex GMT II-C. I bought it back in Oct 2007 to celebrate a promotion at work. I bought it new from the local AD. I wear it every day.2) A 1975 Universal Geneve Golden Shadow Quartz with a 74 Quartz movement. This watch belonged to my father. For some reason this watch was not working for the last 20+yrs. Last year I contacted UG and I was adviced to send it to a Swiss watch-maker master who lives in Houston. He brought it back to life.3) A 1974 Omega Constellation ref ST355.0815 automatic caliber 711 24 jewels. This watch also belonged to my father. I kept it in storage after he passed away
Hello all. I am new to WTF; I am having a wonderful time reading all of your posts, thank you.I have been promised a new watch from the wife for getting accepted into law school. I REALLY like the look of the Jazzmaster power reserve automatic but am hesitant to pay the manufacturer's retail price at my local, reputable jewelry store. I have seen them online for $200-$300 off retail. What does everyone think about ordering one online? Can you folks recommend a reputable online seller?Thank You.
Well here is another mystery in the watch collection... I dont know much about the brand or model. Any information would greatly be appreciated.1985 Royal Oak Audemars PiguetC14927Purchased somewhere in Europe.
...today me and some friends from our local watch community had a 'Paneristis only' GTG in central Stockholm...
I just had a question about polishing I find that the clasp on my 11 6 7 10 Ln is starting to thin out I'm talking about the center part of the clasp the mirror finish part of it it's been polished a few times and Rolex CanadaMy question is how many times are you able to polish the clasp before you have to replace it and what is the price of a clasp I mean if it's an insignificant amount 3 or 4 hundred I'd have no issue just replacing it on my next service
