Affordable Vintage: Zodiac Sea Wolf
Zodiac launched the Sea Wolf divers watch in 1953. When it was a featured at the Swiss Watch Pavilion at the 1964 World’s Fair in New York, it really gained in popularity. The Sea Wolf featured the caliber 70-72 automatic movement that was a collaboration between ETA and A. Schild. The first model did not hack, but shortly after its debut they added a hacking mechanism. It featured a newly designed snap on case back w/gasket that they labeled as “20 ATM. Especially Water Tested”. This new sealing system, combined with the thick and highly domed acrylic crystal and a longer crown tube enabled the Sea Wolf to function as a genuine tool divers watch, rated to a depth of 660 feet.The Sea Wolf is instantly recognizable with its bold triangle hour markers at 12, 3, 6, and 9, and unique lume filled triangle hands. I asked this on one of our other forums, but wanted to get the BBB Brotherhoods thoughts.. Would you pay a little more if Breitling offered a sapphire case-back & highly decorated movement to view? Lets say $200-300 at most. Would you pay a little more to have a sapphire case-back & very detailed, decorated movement? I'm not talking the current movement, which is very nice. But Geneva waves, the 'engine swirls' (don't know what they're really called) and all that detailed decorating. To me, that would possibly be a counterfeit deterrent too. Doing that level of decoration isn't easy. And to the best of my knowledge, there aren't any fake makers that ever duplicate a decorated movement anywhere near what the originals are. Plus, I do enjoy gazing at the movements of the watches I do have on sapphire case-backs..So what's your thoughts. Would you buy one or prefer the standard steel case-back?

Whats the best strap for Breitling Transocean unitime chronograph?
I bought this Breitling preowned last year because I got a steal on it for 6k. However I barely ever wear it and I think it's because the mesh band makes it ugly for me. I am considering getting a black leather Breitling strap for it instead.Any ideas for what kind of strap/band would look great on this?
