- I saw a lady on the train who was wearing a necklace that would go perfectly with this watch, only I believe that she paid much, much more. This is exquisite.

Longines Longines 21084 wrist watches news:
Hello :)Thinking of getting an old watch in the family serviced. It was bought 42 years ago & never been serviced before (I know I knowbut still runs great )So anyway I know its complete provenance for a fact that it's completely original in every respect, which I am aware is considered desirable for a vintage watch. The dial has some minor signs of age, unsurprisingly, but nothing that seems too bad. Is it okay to allow the dial to be touched up, or fully restored, or is it wiser to leave well alone? What are the general ground rules?
Gents, I just wish to thank you all for this community. Our good member Mike has been nothing but gracious with his time and effort in securing and shipping to me a pair of screws that I need for my Bumblebee. It must have been at least 10 emails back and forth, putting up with my naive questions, taking delivery himself, and then taking the time to personally ship half way across the world. All refusing to let me know of any cost until he was certain it was on a plane. This is what the Audemars Piguet Brotherhood is all about.Mike, you are a true gentleman and I am grateful for your time and effort my friend.PS: I am going to keep the card on my side-table because I want to see my wife's reaction.
Is so could you share pics and opinions? Thanks
And I M LoviN It !!!! ....Cheers
Without getting too much into the details. I'm curious what the average watch fan on here got as a discount and from what source with regards to a Gold/Platinum/Two Tone Rolex? I think most of the time, you are hard pressed to get more than 5% off on stainless models so I'm not as interested. Also, Since we are largely a group of passionate watch people, this poll will not likely reflect the average buyers experience which is likely mostly full retail.
