Longines Longines 48114 wrist watches news:
This week, you followed all the exciting SIHH novelties live from Geneva; today, Bring A Loupe returns with some really gorgeous vintage watches – or vintage-inspired, in the case of my favorite Grand Seiko. You will notably discover how a Speedmaster looked when it was sold in 1971, and admire a nicely preserved Movado. I have also found an intriguing bullhead watch from Breitling, and a not-so-great medical chronograph from Universal Geneve. This is your Bring A Loupe for January 22, 2016. An Omega Speedmaster Reference 145.022, NOS From 1971 1 OF 14 Finding an untouched example is a recurrent fantasy for watch collectors – probably not as frequent as a time-travel machine to stock up on vintage references, but not far off. Here, this Omega Speedmaster reference 145.022 follows this time-capsule logic: it was purchased in the UK back in 1971 and left in the box since, to the point that the bracelet links are imprinted on the watch holder. As you would
I just part exchanged with this Breitling Automatic from what seemd to be a nice chap with a huge company reputation here where i live. He assured me that it's 100% original and even wrote a statement and signed it. He told me where he bought it (from a certified jeweler) and told me that I can check it's genuinity there. Before going through this process, i would like you guys to tell me if he his a nice chap with a golden heart or just a slob that ripped me up!It resembles very much to a colt, however I did not find any model that looks exactly like this one. It's got a clearback, revealing the movement. The crown seems to be faded, All the chrome has worn out and underneath seems to be golden in colour. The outer ring moves and the lettering black paint is slightly worn off.Serial number does not seem to be found anywhere. I check between the lugs.[*three pictures removed, non-authentic watch confirmed] Can anyone therefore shed some light on this watch? Fake or authentic? Y.O.M? mode

I can't believe it but my everyday Olympic Speedmaster is dead as a doornail today.I'll to figure out where to send it in from CA.I pulled out my paperwork today. My purchase receipt from the Omega Boutique last year was Oct 14! Almost a year to the day. :(Do I have to change the strap back to original before sending it in under the warranty? I switched it out for a red, white and blue during the Olympics and have that still on there right now.Below is a pic of my hubby and my Olympic editions together. (My broken one on right.)Thanks in advance.SuzyImageUploadedByTapatalk1349832241.211703.jpgSent from my iPad using Tapatalk
