Maurice Lacroix Maurice Lacroix 27407 wrist watches news:
Boat races and watches ¨C a weird and yet?seemingly ever-green combination. A few years ago, IWC joined the craze and has?chosen to sponsor the Volvo Ocean Race, a remarkably challenging, round-the-world race that starts this October in Alicante, Spain, and terminates in Gothenburg, Sweden, in June 2015. With regards to?IWC's role more specifically, the brand is?the event's Official Timekeeper, partner of?the Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing team, and sponsor of the 24-hour speed record. And while that does seem like a total overkill for someone not that?into the world of competitive sailing, this web of collaborations?does result in a surprisingly?restrained, yet sporty-looking chronograph that arguably makes a lot more sense than the sponsorship-frenzy behind it. The watch dedicated to?the event is the?IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph ¡°Ocean Racer,¡± a limited edition of just 1,000 pieces. It was almost three years ago that we discussed its predecessor (article here),?the 2011-2012 limited ed
Not sure if this is a new ad or not, but I've never seen it. I hated this watch when it first came out, but now I find it kind of cool looking, in a sporting kind of way. If I owned a Yacht, and I was rich, and I didn't have a specific Yachting watch, then I'd probably.nahI still wouldn't buy it. Great marketing, though. Hope everyone had a great summer. I welcome the fall...Here's a goofy pic someone took of me at our last "Meet and Drive" event of the summer, wearing the Daytona. Our next one will be in November and I'll have more watch pics from that one, much closer up!One guy showed up in a very rare, Evans! He's a watch guy but because he was driving this car, our conversation never got around to watches.Kind of like a "Land Yacht"
Hi, Was hoping somebody could tell me if it would be worth investing in a Ernest Borel swiss watch . It has some type of masonic type symbols on the face and I think is 23 jewels, and is gold color and some gold inlay in the symbol area, It has an organization number on the reverse and has a leather band and the case is somewhat square type, it is in great condition and working. im assuming its gold filled but i do not know, also i believe its automatic from sixties era. . Thanks in advance for any advice
Was wondering if anyone had any advice on whether the white or black dial 5170g which is now discontinued in white gold was a better buy. I love the way they both look and have the opportunity to buy either one. I would like to take into account future value, desirability, etc. thank you all in advance!!!
Greetings. I just got into watch collecting this past year and finally pulled the trigger on the Sub Date this past weekend. It's the best all-around watch. I love the bracelet is all brushed so it will wear well with fewer scratches than polished links, etc. I'm afraid I won't want to wear my other watches for some time now. :) And I got a small discount at an area AD where others didn't even have in stock, so I feel confident in my purchase. Happy to be a part of the Rolex family now! :)
