Maurice Lacroix LC1007-SS002-330 wrist watches news:
I have a Bond chrono (2599.80) in very nice condition with both boxes warr card (Expired) just serviced and pressure tested in May. Any suggestion on pricing??Thanks!!Andy
My watchmaker suggested I stock up on a few 760/761 movements so I have a future supply of parts handy and I obliged and won a lot of 9 watches/movements the other day.I think there are some rough gems here. First, there is this Gruen Precision. I know very little about Gruen, but this looks to be 1958 or earlier and cosmetically, while a bit dirty, it is in great shape, case, crystal, and dial. The balance wheel spins and the second hand moves, but it looks as if the stem broke off.It is in such nice shape, I'm going to added it to the queue of watches that need to make it to the watchmaker. Plus, I have wanted to add a Gruen that was made by Gruen while it was still a Cincinnati company. (So if you have any ideas on the age/name, etc of this watch, let me know).Next is the Lord Elgin with the 760 automatic. The case is dirty and crystal probably needs to be replaced, but the dial is great and the condition of the bezel and caseback is great. Plus, it came with a Kreisler expans
How do I close a quartz watch back without a press? For the life of me, I can't close it with my thumb. The back case does have a gasket.
