Maurice Lacroix LC6008-PD501-130 wrist watches news:
It is almost the middle of 2015, and now that the Apple Watch is here, people are still asking me "when is Casio going to release their smartwatch?" In a sense, much of what Casio already produces are "smartwatches," and the Japanese company arguably created the segment with a number of interesting watches over the years that do more than just tell the time (starting back in the 1980s during the "quartz revolution"). In 2011, Casio even began producing Bluetooth-connected G-Shock watches that offer simple notifications and music controls along with a small number of other features (which continues in some models produced today). With all that in mind, why is it that a company which should be the obvious front-runner as a traditional watch brand (and electronics company) to making smartwatches, have seemingly nothing in their pipeline to address the question of what Casio's answer to the smartwatch will be?The high-end Casio G-Shock MT-G costs $1,000, showing that there is market for mo
I'm headed to Korea in may and I'm thinking of picking up some Korean watches. Maybe even some seikos if they have any :D I have a couple questions:First off is the price worth it ? (I live in canada, so our $1 is like $1000 Korean dollers) So if I can find a seiko for 500 here, would it be the equivalent in Korean dollers over there, or would it be cheaper? Second, are there any good markets in the country I could go and explore to find some seikos (vintage or new doesn't matter) or should I stick to AD.Third, are there any Korean watch brands I should purchase while I'm in the country? Thanks for the help :D
Hi, first postI recently became interested in watches while reading about what I should wear to several upcoming interviews (professional school). I want to project a professional appearance, obviously. It didn't take much research on watches before I became fascinated by mechanical watches (thanks to whoever it was that posted that 1940s Hamilton video!!), but I'm not sure I can afford one. My budget is about $100-$120, waaaaaay out of the range of the Hamiltons and IWCs that have grabbed me over the last few days. I like really simple designs, like this quartz seiko (I think this is a stock image, I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules):SGEF81P2.jpgIs this unsuitable for an interview? It's inexpensive enough that I could wear it casually too. Basically, if I can get a reliable mechanical watch I'll go for it, but I am on a student's budgetwill have to wait a few years to get the IWC portuguese I fell in love with last night. thanks for any help, this forum has a great community and
What are you wearing today - it's Saturday in Oz.I bought this about 12 years ago.It was my everyday wearer for about 12 months.I haven't seen another like it.IMO one of the most photogenic watches I have seen.
G'day everyone..Just got myself a new original panerai LUMINOR CALF CASHMERE strap. Most importantly for our hot humid climate, these new straps are water-resistant!Personally I think the color of the straps is a perfect match to the 372. Feels good too! The padded straps suit 372 more than the oem vintage non padded strap IMHO. The padded ones makes it look newer ie moving away from the DNA... Hahaha... Well I am in for the sake of the water resistances feature more than anything else. Anyhow, let me know what you think! Some pic to share... HAGWE jamesJust in case anyone who is interested to order one, here is the link to OFFICINE PANERAI website...panerai/en/accessorie...-calf-cashmere
