Maurice Lacroix MP6318 wrist watches news:
This was admittedly a tough watch to talk about. Unlike the Timex Classic Camper ($35), this Topman Smart Futurist Analogue watch is not a little beater watch dedicated to function, but rather a $40 fashion watch with more fashion backwards relevance than anything else. As a watch, there was not too much to talk about. Case and quartz movement with quirky looks? Not much material there. Instead the piece is a commentary on the design, and what I think it all means. Bulova came to Baselworld 2016 packing a couple of new, interesting quartz chronographs that left quite an impression. Bulova is very much trying to reinvent themselves these days, looking back at their history of innovation (think Accutron and the world’s first televised ad), adding a new and exciting spark to their design direction. Though they had a lot show at Basel this year, we have two offerings to look at today; one taking a step forward and one a step into the past.Bulova CURVThough they dabble with mechanicals, Bulova mainly produces quartz movement watches. The brand became well known for its Accutron line, which contained the famous tuning fork movement, that lead the way for the quartz technology we have today. Still pushing innovation, they now focus on High Accuracy Quartz (HAQ) movements that few other brands compete with. Now Bulova is looking to make quartz history again with the first curved quartz chronograph movement. The CURV collection of watches boast curv
No excuses for mis-identifications now.
OK, so I cant share exactly what I have seen. I promised I would not. However, what is seen on the Omega website is not all that there was to the show. And some of what I have seen is really nice. One in particular, if the case is not as thick as they normally make them, I will be scooping up the moment it arrives. Truly, some pretty cool stuff. New iterations of the same thing in some cases, but also pretty cool.
Hello All,I currently own two Omega's, one Seamaster Pro quartz and an Aqua terra 2500 chronometer. The AT I have has a plain silver dial, which i am growing to hate day by day It looks too dull and somehow boring to look at. I went to my local AD, and he told me they can order a replacement dial from Switzerland for about $400 and it will be here after one month approx.I was wondering, which one to choose from. Ive always wanted the cream coloured dial with the blue indices and hands, and that was the one i wanted to buy in the first place but it was sold off. However, i am gaining a sweetooth for black dialed dress watches, the black dialed model looks stunning. My SM pro is blue (bond version) and that would serve mostly as my casual watch. The AQ is the dress watch. Can you please help me out here?!! And what justifies choosing one color over the other? Many Thanks
