Online / Internet Swiss Watch ADs - are there any?
This gets brought up in one form or another time and time again.I'd like to ask a simple question or two. I DO NOT want this to degenerate into an argument about whether the best deals, or best prices, or best service exist online or in a 'bricks and mortar' store.I want to know if there are any AUTHORISED Swiss Watch dealers online. Key word - authorised (or authorized if you prefer). Not a store online that sells brand name Swiss watches and offers their own in-house warranty and service.I only know of one: Oris. Oris online sales are divided into regions, so for example you can't buy an Oris from the Asia/Pacific dealer if you live in the States. These online ADs are backed by an Oris warranty (up to 3 years).So, are there any others out there? Staggered Pick Up
As much as I love Rolex watches, I’ve been looking out a lot more as of late. Picked up these two at different times. Almost sold the Blackbird, but I am pretty stoked that I kept it. The Blackbird specifically has great lume, a bezel for timing and I love blacked out look. The Transocean has this amazingly clean dial and I love the day/date combination. I’ve alweays been a sucker for it. Both are basically the same size. Slim cases too, so they wear really well. They are big at 43 mm, but they don’t wear big at all, based on the slim profile. They wear much smaller than one might imagine. Apparently Breitling has gotten very flexible with straps so it’ll be fun to see what options I might come up with. They are both very reasonably priced. The new warranty card that cane along with the Transocean is really neat. So far, I’m really impressed and glad to be back with Breitling.

Hi Gents, first I want to express my thanks for all your help and expert advise on my recent thread looking for a bona fide dress watch. I've looked at the IWC Portuguese 7-day, new JLC master calendar, as well as the Calavatra line such as the 5119G, 5127G, and the 5196G to name a few. But it was love at first sight when I saw the Gondolo 5111G-001 at my AD recently. It was absolutely gorgeous and in unworn condition. This is a piece that you certainly don't see too often. I especially love it's modern interpretation of the art deco style and it's old-time craftsmanship. So without too much fanfare, here it is on my wrist today. PS: This will my last incoming for a long while....
