My Omega Speedmaster and my July 04, 1969 Life Magazine
I was able to get a pretty cool pic of my Speedmaster perched on top of an original Life Magazine dated July 04, 1969. I had it vacuum sealed for many many years. It was my late grandfathers magazine and still has his 'white mailing sticker' in the lower left of the magazine. I thought the watch and magazine fit well together.

Hey everyone, I know C&B has gotten a lot of exposure on the General Forum, but I wanted to bring some fan-dome to their likeness because I'm really impressed with their products, service, and care for our forum! Posted this as my watch of the day on sunday To be honest I dont know much about it and would like to know if anyone out there can fill in the blanks?I emailed rotary and unfortunately they only confirmed what i already knew.Ie about 40 yrs old and no parts availableAre there any vintage rotary experts out there?anyone hoarding some spares such as a geniune bracelet and NOS dial?I can but hope!let me know what you think and knowis there a screw missing in the movement?thanksGuyhotobucket/albums/qq182/guygolfer/IMAG1040.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket">

My newest Omega is not my newest Omega?
So I found a great deal on a Seamaster GMT great white and I love the look of this watch. I have been wanting a GMT watch for a while and snagged this one. Took it to my AD to get sized and he ran the bracelet through a machine that sterilized it and brought the finish to like new condition removing all scuffs and marks! I was blown away...until I tried it on. I don't know what the hell but it looks like a chicks watch when I am wearing it. My old 2254.50 didn't look and feel so small on me? Maybe because the bezel/dial are both black and it appears larger. This watch is just too small for my 'brick' wrists LOLHere's the wrist shot:So I decided I wasn't into it so I gave it away..............................................................To my wife and she loves it. Cool thing is that when I pop open the divers extension it fits me perfectly so we can both wear it!
