Orange Monster vs Seiko 007/009
I thought I would report on my initial thoughts on my recent purchase of the 009 and maybe get more info on the differences with the Orange Monster - and Seiko watches in general from you fellas who know about them. Generally, I find myself very attracted to Seiko although I don't know that much about them.Here is the Monster:And here is the info I have on it:Superb Seiko dive watch with a 21 jewel automatic (self-winding) movement, caliber 7S26, day and date display, super-luminous markers with Lumibrite, orange dial, screw down offset crown, uni-directional bezel, scratch resistant hardlex crystal, slightly domed for enhanced visibility, and solid etched case back. Got these pics from a friend's wedding, with the 44mm steel, thought you guys might enjoy. These pics might make me look silly but show off the watch well. Typically I would wear my Calvatrava or IWC but decided to spice it up.Tom Ford + AP = not too bad...Go ahead and bust my chops LOL Basically, I'm contending it's ok to wear an AP in formal gear, it just pops a little bit ;)Photographer caught me at a weird moment after giving a speech.Being drunk and silly with old grad school alums in those photo booths.

Hi all!I'm an owner of pp nautilus 3710.My first love was and still Rolex, but got the pp bug and bought one.To the question:With my rolexes I'm doing everything ( swimming, sleeping etc etc)But because of the not scruedown crown of the Patel, I'm not feeling good to dip it into water ( although I've checked it for water resistance at my watchmaker)What do you think?Emanuel
