Omega 123.10.24.60.55.002 wrist watches news:
Corum has created a unique version of the Ti-Bridge watch for Only Watch 2009. The new and exclusive movement is designed, developed and assembled in-house. The CO 007 movement is clearly inspired by the Golden Bridge caliber, but the overall style of the timepiece gives the original concept a new and contemporary twist. Both the case and the movement are in titanium, a material known to be lightweight and difficult to work with. The bridges and plates of the Caliber CO 007 are cut from this titanium and black PVD-coated. Theupper bridge is engraved with the ¡°Corum¡± brand name. The bridges are satin-finished, while the generously sized barrel is snail finished. The balance oscillates at 4 Hz, giving Caliber CO 007 a 72-hour power reserve. The curved and tonneau-shaped case is made from grade 5 titanium ¨C the only kind that can be polish-finished ¨C and measures 42.5 mm by 41.5 mm. On the case-back, Corum has engraved a famous quote from Antoine de St-Exup¨¦ry taken from the book ¡°Le Peti
Maybe a surprise to you, but this is going to be my first trip to Switzerland. Today I embark on a (frustratingly long) flight to Geneva for two important shows. First is the highly exclusive SIHH 2010, put on indirectly by the Richemont Group to celebrate mostly its brands. This gala style event is apparently very high-class, and of course, as always, "by invitation only." I do consider myself lucky having be asking to attend. There I will mingle and see new for 2010 releases of many brands, just a few of which are Audemars Piguet (not part of Richemont), A. Lange & Sohne, Cartier, Panerai, Vacheron Constantin, Greubel Forsey (also not part of Richemont I understand), Van Cleef & Arpels, Richard Mille (not part of Richemont), IWC, and many more! There is also the high-end independent watch maker show known as the Geneva Time Exhibition, that I will be attending. Another load of great watch makers will be here including, but not limited to, Alain Silberstein, Linde Werdelin, HD3

DOXA Dirk PittThe original Professional - as worn by adventurer extraordinaire Dirk Pitt!Price: About $2000You may never walk in Dirk's shoes, but now you can wear his watch. The DOXA 750T Professional Dirk Pitt is everything that was great about the original Professional of 1967, reinterpreted in a larger, more modern version. A brief history - DOXA made the first orange faced diving watch back in 1967 and this year we celebrate 40 years of the Orange-Mania! Clive Cussler has worn his Orange DOXA SUB on over 60 of his successful expeditions around the world since 1968. Dirk Pitt and his real-life alter-ego - Clive Cussler have been loyal DOXA customers since the DOXA SUB first surfaced back in the 1960s.The DOXA SUB 750T Professional Dirk Pitt is a reinterpretation of the original 1967 DOXA SUB. It combines the style of the original Professional in a more modern, slightly larger size. We have used a 44 mm case, and a flat sapphire crystal to provide a more modern look and feel. In add
Hi guys Got myself a new strap for my 42mm PO.I know how you all like pictures so I thought I'd share...Ordered this direct from Austria...IMG_1559.JPGHirsh Jumper Black Croc with orange stitch. Came with a tool & new spring bars.IMG_1560.JPGI fancied a new look without spending a small fortune. I sent the PO for a service and it came back all lovely & polished but after a couple of months the clasp's starting to show signs of wear, IMG_1562.JPGThis is my first attempt to change straps. The tool was the wrong size but I managed to get the bracelet off with a bit of fiddling.IMG_1563.JPGGetting the new strap on was pretty easy, although I did put it on the wrong way round at first & had to swap it back round again!!IMG_1564.JPGWorn it for the rest of the day and could hardly take my eyes off it, Almost like having a whole new watch..I love the orange stitching, it's nearly an exact match to the bezel in the right lightAnyway sorry for the long post, hope you enjoy the pics.
