Omega 42530342057004 wrist watches news:
Whether it was for the sport, the commercials, the halftime show, or the incredibly awesome nachos (add chorizo – you're welcome), you were likely one of the 111.9 million viewers that tuned into that big football game called Super Bowl 50. This year we saw the Broncos beat the Panthers 24-10, led by quarterback Peyton Manning. 1 OF 1 It's no secret that athletes like watches, just see here and here, so it was no surprise that during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon we at HODINKEE noticed a rather large watch on Peyton's wrist. After a closer look we're pretty sure that it is in fact a Panerai Radiomir Composite 3 Days 47 mm. The more you know.Watch the full video below. Don't have the HODINKEE App yet? I am new to firum and own 2 PP watches, having just purchased a 5205 from an AD, as was my 5035. I would never consider buying any PP or other high end brand from anyone but an AD. I see many ads advertising PP watches for cheaper prices but they are not AD's. Are they considered "grey market" and why? Do they have acces to buy large lots of these watches or are they just high end counterfits? The 5205 just came out and they, IMO, are slowly releasing the to the market. How do these people operate if the value or initial cost of the watch doesnt depreciate right away? I could see if the market was flooded by PP, and AD were unscrupu;lous and sold large lots cheap, but that doesnt seem to be the case. In short Im just wondering why so many non-AD's are trying to sell a watch they dont and cant get. Is this a scam? My watch is legit and confirmed as such from HSWA, so I feel honored to own it. I would never consider a "replica" no matter the quality!!!!
Bought my first Oris yesterday. It's the titanium diver chronograph. I posted some pics in the general discussion forum, and will post up some more in here when I get some better ones. The watch was on closeout at Macy's, so I got a good deal, but they didn't have any paper work, owners manual, etc. I've already registered the watch with Oris, and emailed them about obtaining those items.Anything in particular I should know about the watch? Thanks.
So, I sent my chronomat longitude in for it's first overhaul and refinishing..Set me back about 700 USD. Bear in mind that I sent my watch in probably two to three months ago. I barely wore it, maybe once a month, and now finally I'm wearing it every day at work (banker). However, since day one of getting it back the unidirectional bezel rotates both ways, is quite loose (not like when I bought it -- was tight), even sticking my hand in my pocket causes the bezel to move which is rather annoying. Before my overhaul and servicing with the watch fully wound, the charge would only last maybe 8-10 hours after storing the watch. Unfortunately the watch is still not holding a charge very long.. If I take the watch off and store it in its box Friday, the following Sunday I'm winding and resetting the time and date. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced similar issues. I was told for the money paid, all my concerns (which are aforementioned and then some) would be addressed. Seems like
So I went to visit a local deal with the full intention of walking home with a new watch today. I hadn't quite made up my mind yet but I figured that between the new Omega Speedmaster Chrono Cal 9300, the Plofproof 1200m and the Planet Ocean 42mm Cal 8500 I would surely find one that sang to me.Started off with the Speedy Chrono: the bracelet rattled and the whole experience wasn't very solid. The matte dial is beautiful and I normally really like the look of two side-by-side registers/sub-dials, but when you see this model in real life they do sit a bit too far out towards the edge of the dial and they probably should have been slightly larger. And then the watch is thick, thick, thick due to the see-through back. Bummer, but who cares, let's move on to the next one.The new Planet Ocean. Some say better than the SubC - I'm looking forward to this one. The feel is a lot more solid than the Speedy. Great start. Matte dial. Check. Feels good on the wrist, overall a good size watch for my
