Omega Omega 10586 wrist watches news:
HiIt¡äs been a while but I just wanted you all to know that I went to do a full service on my 2531.80.00 and now it runs perfect.I believe that this watch is the classic above all and I just love this model. Thats all
If you could only own one.....................Which one................Mr Houston, could I have your answer please.
I was at the watchmaker's today, sitting around shooting the breeze and he takes out this Hamilton Illinois to show me. I thought it looked familiar, so I took a picture. Had to laugh when I got home and looked at my Timex.
I'm just posting something I've been thinking about lately. This won't be another thread saying which is better, merely my opinion. Have any of you ever considered going quartz because it affords one more options in terms of picking a nicer watch? I've noticed some brands that often offer an auto and quartz version of the same watch. Many times the quartz will be a fraction of the cost. My Prs-516 quartz was around $200, whereas the auto is nearly $800. They use either the same or very similar case, same bracelet, and similar dial setup. So, I'm just suggesting, why not go quartz sometimes if it allows one to get a nicer watch than going for a lower end auto?
I wanted to share some photos of this beauty. The blue dial and bezel are simply spectacular. Omega has hit a home run with this as well as the black one. I may just have to get the black one!Cheers,Brian
