I am a long time lurker finally getting around to becoming a bit active. I love visiting your forum, but boy does it paint all kinds of shades of envy when I see these great watches! Anyway, I am a new guy when it comes to watches as I have only recently received my Omega SMP as a gift this past year. Now I have the bug. New and seeking advice...
So, the watch fascination set in for me in my late teens when I (as most of us in our late teens) had barely enough cash to pony up for pizza and beers on a friday night let alone a $4000+ wristwatch, but I find myself now in my late twenties, reasonably successful by the standards of most, and my Tissot Seastar 1000 and Hamilton Jazzmaster chrono are just not satisfactory anymore. Watch stopped - uh!
A few days ago, I posted about watch winding times. Well, my ROO Panda hasn't moved in 2 days (after it was fully wound)I called AP on 57th st and was told to bring it in and that the Clearwater SVC center is closed until Jan 6th.Any ideas about how to get it working again?The crown feels very tight - had it in my winder at 600 bidirectional rotations/day. I'm slightly pissed...
