Hi,Would it be possible to have the sponsor links open in a new window when you click on their banner?Some of the vendors have quite a few items, and by the time I have finsihed looking, it is easier to use the bookmark to return to this forum instead of the "Back" button. The problem with that, is that I then have to find where I was in this forum.This is not specfic to the Rolex area, but I thought I would post this here since I only seem to go to the Rolex area. Thanks for the great forum!Ken

The Designation Of The GMT - GTG in NYC
The GMT ist not only a beautiful but also a practical watch.It has two timezones in one !After arriving in a different timezone all you have to is to set the small hand hour by hour to the local time and the red/green 24-hour-hand stays at your hometime.Thats a nice attribute but it is useless if you always stay at home.So to test the function all you need is an airplane.Lufthansa was so kind to leave us one for a small charge:The fleets grandpa "Thüringen" (whis is one of Germanys states)Hannes was skeptical. Will there be a happy end?Come on, Hannes. Easy :DHm. The experiment should have started 20 minutes agoHmmmmm. Actually half an hour agoHmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Actually 2 hours ago What happend?The catering company LSG was moving its location at this day.To make it short: After 2 hours waiting in the plane we left Frankfurt without catering.On board you could choose between water, orange juice and red wineadded by a 4-cheese-pasta cooked to rags.Crossing the Rhein River....

Greetings, esteemed Members!My beautiful girlfriend, Sarah visited me last weekend from Tampa here in Colorado Springs. We had a fantastic time....btw, we are both excited about attending this Nov GTG in Tampa.We started out at breakfast in historic Colorado City. The weather was fantastic! We then drove through "Garden of the God's" Park. It was breathtaking!Around noon, we went to Manitou Springs and had a refreshment Then we played a few rounds of Skee Ball....yes, she was ready for me to play and stop taking photos We then stopped by Bristol Brewery and had a cold IPA...this is the view of the bottling operation from our seats at the bar:Then it was off to the house so we could sit outside, drink some wine, smoke the sheesha, and have cheese Hors' Devours....We finished off the rest of the weekend sipping coffee at our local coffee pub and doing quite a bit of hiking. I look forward to her next visit have a great weekend and thanks for looking!-Aaron

Omega Speedmaster Pulse Rate Bezel
Hey Guys:I sourced this really cool vintage bezel for my 1969 Speedy.It is graduated to calculate pulse rates by counting 15 heartbeats against the stopwatch feature.Before installing it (similar to a Rolex bezel/insert) I needed to figure out how to align the bezel in relation to the dial (and removed the original tachymetre unit).A quick spreadsheet showed that the 45 BPM on the bezel needed to be directly across from the 20 seconds on the dial.A piece of scotch tape held it in place and the case-back press put it into the right position!Those Omega guys sure knew their stuff back in the good old days; now where is the dog so I can do his pulse!!
