BadBoy & the Hippocampus
Hello everyone!Seems like I haven't visited for a while.I've been crazy-busy since we got back from Maui (honeymoon).My wife and I decided to open our own beauty salon.We officially opened on Christmas Eve.My Omega 2254.50 never leaves my wrist & still looks great!The Hippocampus got to enjoy all aspects of a complete remodeling of our building, i.e. pulling carpet, laying ceramic tile, carpentry, drywalling, painting, plumbing, 16ft ladder at 4AM removing vinyl sign lettering with 20 deg F temps. Quite a few 8 to 10 hour days on top of my regular 9-5 job.I also built our business website and set up a Wi-Fi hotspot.Seems like I just can't do a little of anything!Look forward to hanging with you guys a lil' more soon.BadBoy

Winding a Speedy
First I'd like to say I love Speedys and have one myself. What I fail to understand is why Omega made and continues to make the crown so small and hard to get to. If a watch needs to be wound daily, you'd think Omega would make it easier to do. My Speedy, a S.E. Racing model is an auto, so I don't mind the crown being so small.Did you know you can actually buy a winder extension for a Speedy? HmmmmWhat do you folks think about the Speedy crown?

New to the ROO Family!
I've owned various APs throughout the years, but never an Offshore. Much less an Offshore chrono. I've long admired them, but always thought they may be a bit too loud for my personality. Still love my other APs, but so glad took the leap, and it's very quickly becoming one of my favorite watches. I know lots of folks aren't big fans of the new navy, but in the end, watch collecting is about buying what you love and this is the watch really spoke to me. Thank you TRF and the seller! Usually when I post on the Omega forum I am complaining that the new Omega line is getting thicker and over priced...
