Oris 67476257064LS wrist watches news:
Since the early 1980s Swatch has been the pop-culture face of wristwatches, constantly producing new designs and collections to entice customers and collectors. Last week the brand released its latest collection of brightly colored dive watches, Scuba Libre, just as the weather starts to warm up. Sure, we're not talking about?indestructible, timeless tool watches here, but for under $100, Scuba Libre is worth a second look. 2 OF 19 Scuba Libre On The Wrist It's important to note up front that Swatch has never been about the intricacies of mechanical watchmaking or the?production?of timeless heirlooms. A Swatch is a piece of popular design that you wear on your wrist and can collect and change out at will. Scuba Libre is no exception. 3 OF 19 The collection consists of a few different watches, with the different models mixing the main design elements in various combinations. Hi, Is there a way to search for a specific watch or it's make in the sales forum? Can someone refer me to reasonable Bulova, Longines, Wittnauer, and Elgin mechanical watch guys to tune up some oldies for me? Thanks in advance for any assistance!!! Bill O.
Just got a new sumo and had an aftermarket sapphire pre-installed. Looking at it closely I noticed one side is a little higher on the bezel than the other, its almost imperceptible but more obvious if you run your finger over it. In other words it may not have been set absolutely perfectly, but pretty close. it took a day opr two to notice it. I ordered it from hong kong so it I dont want to hassle the guy and pay all the postage to send it back to be reset. What should I do have a local watchmaker reset it? what would that cost? Should I just ignore it
A while back I treated the new strap for the ChronoCockpit. It seems to work pretty well. Near the same time I got this, I put a new strap on the 1969 Constellation day/date.Granted, it's a slightly different type of leather. I did not treat the Connie and it gets sticky and uncomfortable. The Breitling is fine though in the same conditions. I will be putting a similar strap on the Corum when it comes back, so maybe I'll treat that and see how it holds up. I may even try treating the COnnie after it's been stained to see how it affects the leather after sweaty usage. I think this may be something to help us "strappers" during the summer.
