Panerai PAM00558 wrist watches news:
Hi guys,New to this forum, just wanted to know when is the new range of seiko watches being released? before Christmas? cheers
Back from the watchmaker with a new crystal, a new crown and stem, and a new hairspring. The watch case is 14K white gold filled. The movement is Elgin's 23 jewel manual wind mechanism. It is adjusted to 6 positions. The watch cleaned up very well and the case back just shows a bit of wear, but looks surprisingly nice. It cleaned up very wellThe watched shipped with a 14K white gold capped Speidel expansion bracelet with black inserts. As Genejockey described some of his bands, this one looked like it was toxic. It took an hour of removing the inserts and taking a toothbrush to every nook, but it cleaned up nicely as well. I think I would have tossed it if it just didn't match the watch so well. The only thing that wasn't restored were the lume dots and the lume on the back of the hands (Elgin called watches like this their Nite Glo models). The movement was so dingy when I sent it in, now it looks like new!
Hi, Wondering how you guys think about this watch? Thinking about it for few years, but always end up getting either Rolex or Panerai. But today, Finally got one. Quick iPhone pic.
My new 5205r isnt growing on me - wears very small and sits quite high - even my wife who is pretty oblivious to watches commented it seems small on my 8 wrist.Am thinking about trading (along with some other pieces and $) for a 5070 - either the white dialed r or the black dialed j. Any thoughts on which one of these two? As an alternative I might just wait for the rose gold datograph up-down to be available. Appreciate the boards advice.
Good morning guys. I need a little help with my perpetual calender. It needs service next year and I live in a country or region with no patek dealer. My father travels 14hrs specifically twice a year every 5 to drop off his watches and pick them up. That seems like a waste. What are my best options. I live in Latin America. Cheers
