Panerai PAM00380 wrist watches news:
I'm thinking the next step along the path may be a watch with a black M-O-P face and preferably the fewer complications the better - all the better to show the face off.So what do you recommend in terms of watches that are readily available? I know about the 4469 (but MOP out of stock and unlikely to be back in stock) and the Ventura (but pefer an original).Budget would be around USD1,000.Thanx, stales(PS: Also very happy to consider preowned - PM please).
First off, hello all, new to the forum and bit with the watch-envy bug.I am in a construction vocation and wondering about a suitable watch. Another thread here questioned what watches you feel are suited to your trade, but I'm going to ask for recommendations specific to mine. I am wanting an automatic Swiss movement divers watch in the $300 - $500 range, pre-owned is fine. I will put a rubber strap on it if it doesn't already have one. My working environment is such that the watch would be subjected to some vibration, water and heat/cold but not really intense abuse. Biggest issue would be some scratching which I can live with (hence the acceptability of buying a used watch). The biggest question in my mind (aside from trying to figure out which watch) is whether or not these types of watches are actually designed for and capable of withstanding everyday working conditions, or if I should just buy a beater quartz. But, I really don't want a beater quartz watch nor do I want to ruin a
Here it is at last
I am so excited as I just got the call from my AD that my brand new BLNR has finally arrived! I had put a 20% deposit back in November 2017, so it was a long wait. I was also a little worried with what was introduced at Basel last month and from all the rumors on this site and others, that this piece was discontinued, not available, sold to somene else, etc. Anyhow, worries are now over. Now it's just planning to make the short trip to Ottawa to get my prize. Decided to spend my money there instead of Montreal, as the main AD in Montreal just rubs me the wrong way. I am planning to pick it up in the next couple of weeks so I will post pictures then. Cheers!
Hi,I got the Tudor 79220R and have sourced a Black Bezel insert. Are these easy to swap? It would be handy to know before I pull the trigger. Thank you in advance.
