This is a great looking new introduction for BaselWorld 2012 from Tissot.? The Heritage PR516 is a throwback to the PR 516 from the 1960s and 70s, one of Tissot's most favored vintage pieces.? To be specific, the Heritage PR516 is actually an homage to the Tissot Seastar PR 516 GL - and this new piece retains the same dial markings as the original.Sized at 40mm with a sapphire caseback (notice the rotor?) the Heritage PR516 will be available in steel or PVD gold and on either a leather racing strap or a steel big-hole bracelet as seen in the picture.?We don't have word on pricing yet, but it will be between $500 and $1000. Okwith all the new "Finds" happening in the American, (I am SO proud of you guys/gals!!!)I thought it appropriate to start a thread called "Steals and Deals"So many People are SO clueless as to the Vintage worldthat I am going to "teach" them through this thread...Here is my little story and I know you guys/gals will have fun adding your great "Finds" to this thread!I walk into a jewelry store yesterday and the guy has a"PILE" of vintage (I mean piled in a clump) in a sterling plate inside the cabinet.I say to the salesgirl, "can I take a look at them?"She says, "oh those are not for salethey are just for display"I ask for the owner politely to take a look, and he agreessayingoh those are all broken and I have no idea what they are worthI rumage throught the pile and put 3 "broken watches" aside...He says well, "what will you give me for em'?""How bout $150?, I will need to get them Cleaned up!" I say...Great, take the pocket watch too! he says!ALL 4 WORK PERFECTLY!!!They didn't work b

Recent Tapatalk issues with WTF?
The last several days, I've been having some weirdness with Tapatalk and WTF. The Unread tab of the Latest section frequently comes up blank, or with only a few threads showing. This is new behavior, and happens both on my iPad and iPhone, but only here on WTF.So, I'm wondering if any other Tapatalk users here are seeing this?I know John said that once the new WTF mobile app comes out, Tapatalk support will be phased out. And perhaps that's starting already in the process of developing the new app.?

Datejust 116200 oyster clasp
New to the forum, here to ask a question about a concern over my datejust 116200 oyster clasp. I tried to pull out the easy link extension but forgot which part of the clasp the extension was located, I basically pulled on the part that anchors to close the clasp only to realize a few seconds later that The easy link extension was on the opposite side. My question is, how strong/durable is the side of the clasp that I pulled, physically the clasp is working fine but would like to hear anyone who knows more about it.
