Patek Philippe 3520/D wrist watches news:
Hi GuysI have a Seamaster 2250.54, black face with stainless steel bracelet and I would like to obtain OEM straps for it, mainly a black rubber strap and/or a black alligator strap with deployment. My question is can any of you guys advise of a supplier in the UK or do I need to purchase through my local dealer/jeweller. ofrei in the States is an awesome site and it sells the alligator strap that I would like, however they say they will not export the straps outside of the States! Your help would be much appreciated.Cheers. Andy D
By crikey it's been a long time since I kicked off a monthly incoming thread. For those that were wondering - in the immortal words of Jim Carey during the elevator scene in "Liar Liar"IT WAS ME!!!Wanted one of these for a long time; think the reeded bezel edge is just so cool. Thanks Bryan!!Hamilton Boone c1936. 14K yellow gold filled, 17 jewel 980 movement. Original two tone gilt - enamel dial.(B Giroaurd images)
I have ALWAYS like the Breitling Emergency. It's the aesthetics! Just something about its robust look. The only drawback to me is the fact that it is quartz. I wish there were some way that this timepiece could be what it is with an automatic movement. Still it is a really desirable watch to me.Did they ever make this watch in a mechanical movement? Seems like I remember seeing one, but not sure.
Hi all, I wanted to know how you live your watch passion? When there is a piece you really love and want, regardless of the fact you have a big collection or like me limit yourself to 3-4, and you can get it new unworn at a great price, but it's not really the right moment, what do you do? Do you think ok it's not reasonable and I can find one later, or do you think it's better to borrow some money from a friend that you can give back in the next 3-4 months without any problem?Knowing that of course considering your financial status it's not super reasonable in any case, that at one point or another you might be uncomfortable financially because of this¡I am asking this because as some might know my 2 favorites after my 5712 my 2 favorites are the 5167R and the 5726, I found a 5726 grey dial on strap, not my favorite, prefer bracelet but the strap would be nice if I have 2 Nautiluses, at a very interesting price for a new and unworn piece, basically 26,500K in euros, which is basically
Does it make sense at all? Why would one do that aside from rounding up one's collection? And if it does make sense and was bought both to wear and for one's collection, which PC model appears to be more sensible and why?I welcome any inputs that may be shared by all. Once again, thanks in advance!
