- Love the beautiful details of the watch. Two plems though.I can only get one side of the band off, so I have not been able to change bands. I keep trying.I can't read the clock very well.

Patek Philippe Patek Philippe 49359 wrist watches news:
What an interesting site here! I was looking for some information on a Bulova I recently purchased, and happened upon it. Some really neat information, here!!I have inherited an Omega Constellation from my grandfather. As I understand it, it is from the 30s or 40's and belonged to my great-grandfather, before getting to me through my grandfather. I'd like to take it someplace to try and get the vintage verified (not that it's EVER going to go to anyone other than my sons), and have it repaired so I can wear it. I don't have the first clue how to go about getting that done, and was hoping someone here might know. Would I contact Omega for something like that? Are there well-known repair shops that would be more trusted to deal with this sort of thing, than others? I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and would prefer to deal with someone local, if possible. Thanks for any help!!
German name Gruen means green. Fred was first in promoting green gold alloy watch cases. Customers preferred white and yellow. He also preferred the pentagon case as did customers and all were made by Gruen although many round cases were bought from U.S. makers. In 1920-30 had a custom shop in N.Y. city for platinum, diamond and custom case work. I have a good variety of pentagons, but only 2 in green gold. Most whites were 18K. All pentagon greens were 14K. Yellows both. 2 greens shown here. 50th with double hinge back making a thick thin case and a best custom carved gold dial with enamel (no diseased silver)

I¡¯m a watch lover but haven¡¯t added a Panerai to my collection......any suggestions? My passion seems to be vintage as I¡¯ve a Daytona, Red Sub, GMT and a Speedy.I like the winder protector on the Panerai¡¯s and have noticed some movements are auto¡¯s and some manual, and others have crystal glass or Perspex!Bit of a mine field!..... got a budget of ¡ê3500 ish.....Any suggestions pleaseCheers
A couple months ago I bought the 116500LN black Daytona in stainless. I find it difficult to read the time at a glance. Rather than trade it in on a white one -- how does one go about getting the dial changed from black to white? Not wanting anything special about the replacement dial --- just white. What would that cost if you go through an AD? Would doing that void the Rolex warranty even if done by an AD?
