Patek Philippe Patek Philippe 16920 wrist watches news:
No report from California yet?
This is the watch in the boxGruen introduced the Baguette in the later 20'sThis watch, I believe is from 1932 is all oringinal, That may included the strapThe case is a Gruen 14 karat gold filled, with engraved sidesThe movement is a Gruen Precision 17 jewel, 307 movement. The watch is 1 1/4 long and 1/2 wideI do not normally collect ladies watches, but when I saw this, it shouted Art Deco at meB
Well, after the original plan for the bracelet for this watch bombed out, I found a used Yobokies Hammer bracelet. I got it in record time and mounted on the watchI am actually really surprised but very pleased with the result. I think this watch is now as good as any divers south of the $500 mark. Really solid, great lume, hefty and comfortable. Here are some pics:And here are some wrist shots to show how the watch and bracelet sit on my 8 1/4" wrist. The link design makes it a little flexible thus making it very comfortable since it adapt itself to the contour of the wrist. Sorry is some are a little blurry.
HI all, I am considering purchasing a pre owned Royal Oak 15400, 2013 model. I have some questions about warranty and servicing and hoping some of you can assist.Firstly is the AP warranty transferrable like a Rolex warranty, ie even if my name is not on the paperwork can I still send in for work? Secondly, if the answer is yes, I have gleaned from these forums that if the first 3 year service is done under the warranty period, the first service is free and then the warranty is extended for 2 more years? Is this the case? If so I would assume if I bought the 2013 model, I could send for servicing in 2016 and have it all covered? Finally what has been your experience with service in regards to timing and cost? I would wear this watch in a rotation and it would not see anything heavy so I am talking about a standard 3 or five year service. I appreciate this watch will have steep service costs and I am prepared to pay it, just curious of what it would be.Thanks all for your input, thi
This is not the normal I have heard from my AD story. I have worked for many years in the watch business (not anymore), and I talked with my Omega AD friend the other day. Everything he has told me over the years, has been true.He told me that he had just been informed that the current PO collection will be stopped before Basel. At the Basel fair, Omega will introduce their new PO, which will be like the LE Liquidmetal. It will have Liquidmetal bezel, shiny dial and screws in the bracelet. Pricetag will be around 2000 $ more It will still have the caliber 2500.If it came with caliber 8500, my wet dream would have come true (If it one day comes with 8500, pricetag probably will be around 6-7000$)
