Hi, Folks...and no I am not going to take responsibility for my actions. Before I came to this forum I considered myself rather sane....and now I'm an addict!!I had started a thread asking after reasons for why people were interested in Elgins and liked what I heard. Anywhooo....the PW I have has "Vallon" on the face, and though the case itself is rather ornately worked, its pretty plain that the little devil has been hiding in some rat-hole somewhere. ....And no it doesn't run. The crystal is not plastic....I don't think.....but the little urchin has a dirty little face, and the hinged covers (all three of them) definitely resist closing, as though they were somehow "sprung". From Internet pics and posts I have always been a big fan of the aquanaut. I have considered trading my DD 118208 for a 5167a, but when I am about sold on the idea I read a lot of posts here that are very negative about the 5167a.
