Patek Philippe 4910R/11R wrist watches news:
Happy birthday Art.............
I'm in Las Vegas and saw a SPO with an orange ceramic bezel and an exhibition back at an AD. I hadn't even seen one on the website. Anyone have information on these? The salesperson, who appeared to know his stuff, told me that if I wanted the orange ceramic bezel, it came with the exhibition back, and that I could not get an orange ceramic bezel with the standard back. Anyone know anything about this?
WOW is all I can say, it's 5 pounds of watches. A grab bag of fun, or something.shopgoodwill/viewitem.asp?itemid=3838497#desNormally I wouldn't link anything, but:1 - It's Goowill2 - There is no profit to be had3 - IT'S 5 POUNDS OF WATCHES!!oh, and I am not affiliated with goodwill at all.
I popped into the Omega AD and while there I saw this version, LE 1971 pieces, LE box, displayback. It was quite striking but the strap's absence of any gold did not seem quite right.I was aware that the Speedy was available in full gold but had never seen a T/T available.I left promptly after my idiot brain reminded me I had a quality brown alligator strap just sitting there waiting for a donor watch.
I've been trying to find a Hulk at MSRP, which as we know is nearly impossible. Most of the AD's are so shady about their waitlist, I may just jump on one of the grey market pieces. I hate to pay the markup, but if a price increase really happens I won't feel nearly as bad. There is the chance they could update the Hulk, I happen to like the larger lugs, so i don't really care if they make them smaller. OF course they could always discontinue it which send prices crazy high, I kind of doubt that will happen though.Anyone regret paying the grey market uncharge?
