Philip Stein 32AWSS wrist watches news:
Now that we got the basic information out of the way in THIS THREAD, let's get into a few specifics.First up, the Valjoux 7750. It's the most common automatic chronograph on the market by a wide margin. Longines calls it the caliber L644, L674, or L678. Most of Oris' 67x and 68x series are based on some derivative of the 775x family. Omega dubs it the caliber 1154, 1164 or 3600. Breitling calls it the caliber B13 or B20, of which the B13 will be our example. Here's a picture of my Chrono Cockpit's movement:
I wanted thank Jim, for being such a great guy for sending me a strap, he wasn't using. What an awesome gesture. Thank You Jim !
Torn on this one and was hoping for input. Looking for a daily wear, dual time piece and was set to pull the trigger on the 5990. However, since I've recently acquired the 5905, I'm beginning to feel that the chrono function may be a bit redundant, especially since it's only a 60 minute timer which I find of little use for timing international air travel. Had a chance to try on the 5164, and found it to be remarkably comfortable. Although appearance wise I give the edge to the 5990, I am starting to warm up to the 5164 for it's versatility. The other choice was the BLRO in WG, which fills a void since I've regretfully sold my BLNR a couple of years ago. Given the 3 options- which would your personal choice be?If you have a personal favorite besides the 3 choices I've shared, I'm open to learning about it as well- but please remember to vote first out of the 3. Look forward to your reply!
My new 5205r isnt growing on me - wears very small and sits quite high - even my wife who is pretty oblivious to watches commented it seems small on my 8 wrist.Am thinking about trading (along with some other pieces and $) for a 5070 - either the white dialed r or the black dialed j. Any thoughts on which one of these two? As an alternative I might just wait for the rose gold datograph up-down to be available. Appreciate the boards advice.
Yesterday I went to an AD as I wanted to buy spontaneously a DJ41 (I thought about a TT black dial with jubilee) as I got a nice bonus and wanted to reward myself. They didn't had it but the gold dial looked good and here it comes... it looked kinda small on my wrist!I was comparing it to my every day watch (116610LN) and the 40mm Sub looked bigger...?Therefore I asked the AD if this are really 41mm and he rolled his eyes and said sir, it's even called Datejust 41.I did some research on this forum and it looks like the Datejust 41 is not even 40mm, it's a bit more than 39mm!I cannot express how angry I am, especially after the sentence from the AD sir it's even called Datejust 41.How do you think about that?+/- 2 sec a day but than being off by that? Please refer to the following posthttps://.rolexforums/showpost...&postcount=130I would appreciate your honest thoughts and feedback.
