- Nice, sleek watch. Thin, which I prefer. Larger face but not gigantic. Numbers are very easy to see. The bracelet really dresses the watch up. Looks very sophisticated. If there was a date function, would be perfect.

Philip Stein 1GCISS wrist watches news:
Here is another one from Basel. Opinions?
Yes, a banner week is continuing at the 'focus residence. Picked up this little gem for a bargain and it arrived after crossing the pond - a 1972 Tissot Seaster with a cool dark green/blue dial and an ETA 2481 inside:It won't be the greatest bargain after service cost - and you can see it definitely needs some cleaning inside - but it's nearly NOS condition with only a few hairline scuffs on the polished surfaces. New strap too! 2 more to go - and one is sitting at the Post Office. Windy tells me there was a delivery slip in the mailbox. Expect some pics of some more 60's Ω vintage goodness tomorrow. No hints from you either Tommy. and wait 'til you see the encore that our biggest WTF enabler hooked me up with.
So my RG 44,which is 3 1/2 months old broke today. Obviously I*m sending it in but figured i would see if anyone has any thoughts on what happened. The watch is fully wound and works fine until i use the chrono. The chrono works until the 30 minute mark (specifically about 10 seconds short of 30 minutes) and it stops. It also completely stops the rest of the watch as well. I reset the chrono and the watch is still frozen. I unscrew the crown and pull it out until i can engage the time setting and then reset the watch to the correct time, screw the crown back in and the watch starts again and works fine. It does NOT start working on its own though, but only after i pull the crown out, and reset the time. No winding required though. This pattern has repeated itself 3 times in a row, and the results are exactly the same. My understanding is the chronograph module is on top of the regular calibre 3120. If they are basically separate pieces then why does a malfunctioning chronog
I have been contemplating buying an 01 Limited Edition for a while-main reasons being I have always loved the Navitimer, but more because of the see through case back. Now with a new 46mm Navitimer coming out, I am drawn to the new model because of its larger size ( I have largish hands/wrists) and it has a see through case back as well.Given the 2 options- what would people most prefer? Does the limited edition version command a premium and have a better collectibility factor, or has that just been squashed because of the new 46mm version?
Anyone seen the Omega Speedmaster Ultraman Movie (1967)? Loved both seasons with Hayata and Return of Ultraman with Hideki Goh. Man I'm old
