M and Z serial numbers showing up at my AD
My AD ordered new stock for a second store they opened up. He said they were receiving M and Z serial numbers along with V. A friend in Vegas told me they are seeing ADs working discounts right out in the open. He also mentioned stock was dripping from the shelves.I believe Rolex is taking stock back in and redistributing it to smaller dealers as new. Technically it is new - but I think this is interesting.

I finally pulled the trigger on the 2254.50 Thank You Father John for referring me to the OMEGA AD in DC area.This is my first Dive watch. Originally I was looking for a Speedmaster day-date or date, but could not decide on which one to get. While I was looking at the Omega catalogue, I happened to see the model 2254.50, I really liked the bracelet and also the dial was different than the other SMP models, and I really like the black dial.So I started to look for the 2254.50 since November 2008 but no luck. Most AD's didn't have it in stock anymore. Then I started looking at ORIS. It caught my eye, because I have heard so many things about it and I went to the AD to look at the Diver Date black dial. So far I have not seen any 2254.50 in person, so I was leaning towards the ORIS. It was hard to decide because I had seen the ORIS in person, but the 2254.50 only in picture. Rolex dial question
When searching dials for Rolex I found a site that had pictures of every dial that came with every model Rolex. Of course now I can not find it. Does anyone know of the site I am seeking?Thanks in advance for any help. Mike

44mm Question
Taking a deep breath as I type this as it's probably not a good path for me to go down - Monetarily speaking. I recently I searched Vegas for a 44mm to try on my wrist (any metal) just for a feel. Again no AD in my area.We have seen some beautiful images of the RG and FC versions here lately - IMO both breathtaking and special in their own ways. With all of the great images lately I feel I have a good idea for what they look like and how they play in different lights. Personally I LOVE the balance of the RG and the different black colors on the watch. I feel both would be awesome additions.My question is regarding the Stainless Steel version...Wondering if anyone could post images or describe the dial and it's coloration. On the AP website seems simple - sub dials look matte black. In some images I have seen the sub dials and ring of the dial come off like a dark navy?Just wondering anyone's feelings regarding the SS version who have handled it in person.When it comes right down
