Hey guys, I was at an area yard sale today and i picked up a fairly tattered Seiko watch for $2. Still runs pretty darn well, which after a month or so reading here, i am not to surprised.Thing is this, I dont know which Seiko it is as my knowledge is super limited. I really want a cool all precious metal Rolex. I have owned a 36mm Day Date in YG 20 years ago and sold it (mistake!). I tried on both the 228238 and the 116618 LN at my AD yesterday. Loved them both, but the Sub is definitely more sporty. This would not be a daily wearer. I would wear it for special occasions, out to dinner, maybe on vacation, etc. Thoughts? I'm a 49 year old professional BTW.
